Virtual Stations- Getting on the Playground
Why have these tools, sites or apps been selected?
Many of these tools are embedded in new exemplar lessons
While it impossible and counter intuitive to try to strictly categorize the following tools at these stations, they have been generally grouped to highlight which tools lend themselves to 21st Century Skills for the sake of exploration and assignment to tasks.
You will certainly see multiple uses/ways to creatively maximize their potential.
Here's how the stations will work...
There are three documents in the Edmodo Folder titled Stations (Getting on the Playground). The stations include:
Now let's go to the document in the same folder titled Teacher Station Document.
As you see the list of tools along with their descriptions- choose three to review during the 30 minutes devoted to each group of tools. Among your group members, divide the list if possible so that as many tools/sites/apps that can be explored today get some attention.
Within each of these 30 minute stations, if you discover a new resource or are reminded of something else you use, please share via Edmodo.
Before we break for lunch, share your top three new tools along with their possible applications in Edmodo.
