Mission Statement
Staff Attendance Challenge
Between Jan. 6 and March 20th, each staff member who misses two days or less will have their names entered in the drawing. You will earn 3 entrances into the drawing if you miss zero days, you will earn 2 entrances if you miss one day, and you will get 1 entrance if you miss two days.
Intentional
What does being intentional actually look like in the classroom? What does it look like to see someone actually walking the walk for intentionality? This week let's be on the look out for our team members who are modeling this for us. Send an email to Mrs. West and myself to let us know who in the building is being intentional and how. We will have a small surprise for everyone who responds. I can't wait to see you all standing out with intentionality this week and the rest of this school year!
I can't end without including a few words from Coach Wooden:
"Eight Suggestions for Succeeding
1. Fear no opponent. Respect every opponent.
2. Remember, it's the perfections of the smallest details that make the big things happen.
3. Keep in mind that hustle makes up for many a mistake.
4. Be more interested in character than reputation.
5. Be quick, but don't hurry.
6. Understand the harder you work, the more luck you will have.
7. Know that valid self-analysis is crucial for improvement.
8. Remember that there is no substitute for hard work and careful planning. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail."

Ninja Warrior!!!
Here are the details:
Each class is working to earn 12 days of perfect attendance as a class. This means the whole class is here on time and no one checks out early. (teacher included) That would count as 1 day. Once your class has earned 12 days they be able to go to the Ninja Warrior course the last week in May. BUT don't stop trying after 12 because for every 5 days over the 12 your class will earn more time on the course. Some classes earned over an hour of time last year!
So excited to kick this off!!
