Friday - We will be having our 1st DOJO party! This is similar to the old Pup Party that we've had in the past here at Rattan Elementary! Students will be given tickets based on the amount of DOJO points that they have (in increments of 10). They will be able to spend their DOJO points to buy rewards!
Teachers have to submit progress report grades by 3:20. Make sure if your child has any missing work, they get it completed and turned in NO LATER than 12 on Friday!
Student's Night Out - Friday 7:00pm-9:00pm
Mrs. Pratt's Reading Riches!
We will begin our first round of STATIONS this Friday! I am super excited to take a break and really let our kiddos master the concepts through hands-on and creative activities that are implemented through each station rotation!
Make sure you talk with your families about how many books have been read since the first day of school! I am really trying to instill a community of WILD readers and inspire your kids to want to fall in love with the worlds that are available to them through text in a book. The reading requirement this year is 40 books! THEY CAN do this! I guarantee that can do this and even go further than this! Help me encourage your children at home!
Our Week in Math with Mrs. Robinson
Mrs. Crane's Week in Writing!
WE HAVE SOME CLASSROOM NEEDS!
Not all of our students have Earbuds! WE NEED earbuds donated for our students who did not bring these with their supplies!
NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES
We do a lot of activities that we cut out of magazines and newspapers! PLEASE help my donating your old magazines and newspapers!
We do not have enough scissors and as of right now we are having to use the ones we have as community supplies! If you can donate a pair of scissors, that would be AMAZING!
