SAVE PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS!
Plastic Bag Collection Challenge
The classroom that raises the most plastic bags will win our annual ice cream sundae bar!
One of our Day of Giving Activities is to prep plastic bags for making plastic sleeping mats for a local organization that works with homelessness issues in our community. We need as many plastic grocery store-type bages as possible - clean and free of holes or tears. These would be Woodman's, Pick N Save, Meiers, etc. even those nice strong ones from Sendik's and Menards. If in doubt, send it in. Anything we cannot use will be given to Waukesha Recycles who will be doing a recycling assembly for some of the younger grades. It takes 700 bags to make one mat, so we really cannot collect too many!
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Rhiannon Cupkie at 414-839-4686. Thank you!
plastic bags are needed!!! Bring in by Friday April 26

Do you know what your student's lunch balance is? Check it out via PowerSchool. Get a check or cash into the school office soon.
Reminder - The Board of Education adopted a policy that when a student’s lunch account becomes negative $20, that student will not be allowed to select the #1 entrée for lunch. However #2, PBJ, and #3, Salad Bar, will still be lunch options for the student.
The staff salaries and food expenses are paid for solely by the funds collected for lunch. HELP OUR WAUKESHA NEIGHBORS NOW USING FOOD BARRELS
Donate April 1st - 30th
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus as part of a larger Good Samaritan effort to directly support our community Waukesha Food Pantry. Bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items (bring something you and your family would like to eat such as cereal, canned foods, mac & cheese, etc. – a complete list is on the barrels) to help feed our @1200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Think about it – your donations feed a group as big as our entire Trinity membership – EVERY WEEK. Contact Elder Jason Krueger for more info: 262-719-6969. Our Savior Jesus has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Will you help us help our neighbors?
