Attendance Boundary Update
Sept. 20, 2016, Committee Meeting
During its second meeting, the Attendance Boundary Committee focused on reviewing data regarding enrollment history and projections.
The committee also received reports on residential development from the communities within the district boundaries. This information was utilized to identify projected growth areas within the district. The committee reviewed elementary school capacities and considered target enrollment levels for those schools 2017-18 that would allow for growth in future years. Boundary criteria prioritization was also finalized for the overall attendance boundary process.
As a reminder, ALL current Shull Elementary students will be assigned to a new elementary school for the 2016-2017 school year. The Attendance Boundary Committee is currently working to determine the boundary lines and school assignments for all students in the district.
