Message from the Principal
Dear Spartans,
I hope this message finds you well.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the parents who attended the first Coffee with the Principal meeting of the year this past Friday. It was great to have the opportunity to meet with you and hear your concerns and ideas. Thank you for taking the time to join us!
I was also very impressed with the turnout for the Senior Sunrise pancake breakfast this past Friday morning. Over 250 students attended, and they all had a great time. Thanks to the Senior Class Officers, Ms. Candelario and the ASB for organizing such a successful event.
I know that many of you are celebrating Labor Day this weekend. I hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
As a reminder, the first progress report grading period ended last Friday. Please take a look at your student's report card and contact their teachers if you have any questions or concerns. You could also request a conference with your student's teacher by contacting them directly, or by contacting our counseling center.
Thank you for your continued support of Chula Vista High School.
Sincerely,
Julio Alcala
Principal

Created in collaboration with the San Diego Guild of Puppetry and directed by Sharon Maley and Zowie Rico, a graduate of CVSCPA, these stories of sacrifice and friendship will make you laugh and cry!

Student Drop-Off and Gate Locations
Gates will be open for students to enter campus at 8:00am. We will have four entry points with designated drop off areas for students. Those are marked on the map with a blue arrow:
#1 North 100, drop off point is the driveway in the front of the 100 building.
#2 South 100, drop off point is the parking lot in front of the GYM.
#3 Youth Center, drop off point is the Youth Center parking lot on L street (before school program)
#4 K Street Gate, drop off point is on K street.
These areas will also serve as pick up points for students after school. For the safety of all, please make sure you observe all traffic patterns and rules. Also please note, supervision on campus will begin at 8:00am when the main campus gates are open. If you need to drop off your student earlier, please drop them off on gate 3, our Youth Center entrance starting at 7:15am. Here, we will provide a safe, supervised place through our before/after school program for your student to wait for the main campus to open.
