Can you believe it? We are in the final week of the school year! Thank you for sharing your students with us this year. We all hope you enjoy the summer weather, days of sleeping in or participating in camps. As we wind down, we have a lot of fun events taking place for our students. In addition, make note of upcoming events:

• May 30th- 8th grade grade Chromebook and charger returns
• May 30th- Choir Concert beginning at 7 pm
• May 31st- 8th Grade Ceremony at the gym 9:00-10:00 am
• May 31st- Food Truck Lunch- See below for more information
• June 1st- Field/Classroom Activities beginning at
• June 2nd- Last day of school. Students release at 11:30 am

Dear Parents,

Can you believe that this year is winding down? The kids have worked so hard this year, and it’s time that we celebrated them! Wednesday, May 31, 2023, is going to be a huge day around here, and we can’t wait to make it a fun day for everyone!

The Eighth Grade Awards Assembly will start at 9:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to join us in the gym for the ceremony. 8th grade students are invited to stay for the remainder of the day or they may be checked out by a parent or contact in PowerSchool through the attendance office. Once an 8th grader chooses to leave, they may not return. Eighth-grade lunch will start right after the assembly.

Happy Tummy Kusina, Fingers and Fries, The Max Shack, Little Red Wagon, and La Taquiera are going to be available at lunch for students. We are asking that everyone brings $10 before Tuesday, May 29, 2023, to their advisory teacher. This will pay for your child’s lunch from the food trucks. Lunch in the cafeteria will also be available. If $10 is too much for your family, please contact the counseling office. If you are willing to donate money to ensure that every child can enjoy our special lunch, it would be greatly appreciated. You can send the donation with your child to their advisory teacher or drop it off at the front office. The school will provide tickets for students to have a treat from Aloha Coffee, Summer Snow, Bailey’s Frozen Novelties, or Lucious Layers.

If anyone would like to join us for lunch and support these amazing trucks, please join us between 10-2.
