We wish all our residents and businesses a safe and enjoyable Independence Day holiday!
Mayor's Message
When I became mayor in 2017, water and wastewater were priorities for the city. We immediately began work on finding a solution for water, and I’m proud to say that in June we made that solution a reality by connecting to the City of Fort Worth to receive water. This connection secures the future for our community.
We were also recently approved for $14.1 million in funding to build a new wastewater treatment plant that can meet the needs of the city.
We've worked hard on these projects and now we are starting to see the reward.
These infrastructure improvements not only pave the way for our current businesses and residents, they also set in place a solid foundation for the businesses choosing Willow Park for their home. We continue to see development on the north and south sides of the interstate and we are especially excited to be the home of the Ludwig Family Athletic Complex, an addition to Trinity Christian Academy. We look forward to seeing the Eagles and Lady Eagles play on their home fields.
I’d like to thank both the council and the staff for their efforts to bring these projects to fruition. We have an excellent team in Willow Park who work hard to serve our community.
