Advent blessings to one and all.

What a spectacular way to celebrate Thanksgiving than to have two snow days immediately following a celebration of God's Gifts of family, health and goodness. We had a short week, but a busy week. Our Christmas Shoppe was quite a success thanks to the flexibility of one and all.

NEXT WEEK: our 8th graders take the PSAT8, picture retakes are on Thurs with PTO meeting that evening, and we will wrap up the week with our Semi-formal slated for Friday here at St. Anna School (grades 6,7,8) . Busy Busy Busy.

Our new Lunch program will begin in January when we return from Christmas vacation. Please note that orders must be completed for the January menu by DECEMBER 13th.

Our third week in December is chalk full of Christmas prep and excitement. Getting in the spirit as we celebrate with our Xmas concert (thank you Mr. Beck)and pageant on Wednesday the 18th while we wear our "Best Dressed" . Thursday the 19th is "UGLY SWEATER DAY" and our teachers will celebrate with their own Christmas Party that evening. No After school will be offered Thursday or Friday after school. Friday the 20th is "PJ day" (pajama day) as we say goodbye to the 2019 and look forward to 2020! It will be a full day. Hard to believe the year is flying bye. We are so lucky to count our blessings.

First Trimester is behind us!

Report cards have been available for your viewing on Option C. Probation letters have been distributed and those on probation will be reevaluated in January. Attendance numbers have been collected, and accounts have been reviewed. We are gearing up for the next trimester.

Students are entering the second trimester with a fresh start. Supporting your child and helping him/her to make sure homework is turned in and complete will only help them in prep for school beyond our walls like high school and college.

SAS prides itself in preparing our students so that they will succeed in the future. The partnership between teacher and parent is important in helping your child to be successful. Please keep the lines of communication open and support one another.

When we return from Christmas vacation, we will be ready to begin our next phase of MAP testing. You will be able to see some growth from the last testing that was held in September.

Socks For Santa continues - OVER 300 items collected so far!

The third grade students have begun our annual 2 month service project in which we will be collecting new white cotton or thermal socks or cotton underwear to be distributed to homeless shelters, women’s shelters, and the elderly of our community.

We often don’t realize or simply forget that those in need have needs other than the need for food.

It is our hope that each student will participate by bringing a small package of socks or underwear each month ( November, and December) to be collected by third grade students. All donations will be given to Montachusett Home Care for distribution to residents who live in our school community area.

A small package of socks or underwear each month is a small price to pay for knowing that the elderly in our neighborhoods are going to be warm this winter.

Please consider helping those who are in need of socks or underwear for the cold winter ahead.

Thank you!
