· District Virtual Learning Days count as part of the required days of instruction and all students are expected to engage in virtual learning
· Your child will access their teacher-developed lessons through the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) using their Collier Connect device
· Students will be able to begin the assignments beginning at 4:00 pm on November 30 and will need to complete assignments by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, December 1.
· Student attendance for December 1st will be based on participation in each of their courses in Canvas.
Students may work flexibly throughout this time period and assignments should take no more than the time allocation listed below. Some students will work more quickly and other tasks may take more time.

VOLUNTEER HOURS!
Volunteer hours are NOT a requirement for graduation, but they are required for students that may be eligible for a Bright Futures Scholarship through the state of Florida. For hours to be considered for Bright Futures, students must complete those hours at a humanitarian, care-based, or social organization that is not-profit in order to meet the criteria.
All hours and volunteer experiences for Bright Futures’ purposes must now be done through TRANSEO. TRANSEO can be accessed through Canvas/resources.
Please contact your child's guidance counselor for directions so that you and your child understand the directions and process. All info is posted on your school counselor’s canvas page as well.
Lastly, our school counselors will have a list of places to volunteer. Have your child reach out to them via CANVAS or please call (239)377-1616
