All About Ballet

Ballet is more than just a pretty dance, it takes a significant amount of physical and emotional strength. Even if you are not passionate about dance, it is still an awesome activity to get into to work on your cardio and overall body strength. And if you do happen to be passionate about this form of dance you can even make a career out of it. Ballet will not only help your physical wellness, but it offers many emotional and educational benefits as well.

Getting Started

If you're interested in taking up ballet as a hobby whether its because you have a passion for it or just want to do it for fun, the first step is to find a studio that offers classes for you to take or there are some colleges, such as COD, that offer ballet classes. Once you sign up, it is important that you make sure you have the proper attire for class (this information should be given to you at time of sign up). Once all of this is done, the only thing left is to soak up the unfortunately, small amount of class time given and have fun!
