Husky Siblings
The "Power of our Pack" was truly evident Monday evening at our Meet & Greet. We had many siblings show their younger sisters or brothers around the Academy while highlighting their favorite things! Pictured is Miles Robertson (kindergarten) walking his sister Zoie into the Meet & Greet; what a poignant moment!. It's great to be a Husky!
Annual Education Report
Our Annual Education Report for the 2020-2021 school year can be found on our website. If you desire a hard copy, they are available in the office. We are so proud of our academic performance last year. Even in a pandemic, our Huskies outperformed the national norm! Dare to be remarkable!
March is Reading Month has officially ‘blasted off.’ Please continue to watch the calendar for the specific themed dress down days. Don’t forget to participate in our commercial video and poster contest! The due date to turn these in is March 7th. In addition, we are continuing our daily book drawing - congratulations to the students who have already won a book.
Continuing with our theme, the middle school staff has been busy ‘exploring’ elective offerings for the 22/23 school year. We are currently deep in the process of selecting a ‘big bang’ of electives for our middle school students. Teachers are creating courses based on their personal teaching endorsements and submitting to administration for approval. After spring break, 5th, 6th and 7th grade students will attend an assembly where teachers will present their elective courses; registration will occur the week after.
Lastly, please be sure to go to our website to check out the recent Husky Happenings video. You will get to see our Spelling Bee winners and runners up recognized for their ‘out of this world’ spelling skills.
Don’t forget - keep reading for at least 20 minutes every night!
Ski CLub
Thank you to the 40 families who participated in this year's Ski & Snowboard Club!
What a fun way to spend time together in the winter season. With spring on its way, the club is officially done. However, any student can still ski/snowboard for $25. Just show the club card at the ticket window. This includes weekend sessions! I hope everyone takes advantage of this and hits the slopes one more time!
