Message From Mr. Fay
Hello! Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a fantastic break filled with relaxation, family, and fun!
Here at Crossroads, our counselors have a bulletin board for the Power of Yet. It is filled with pictures of our staff members and things they are working to “yet” accomplish. Mine is to learn to play a song on my guitar. Mr. Burkemper’s “yet” is to run two miles without stopping, Mrs. Giles’ is to create a project with her Cricut, and Mrs. Walton’s is to create the yearbook.
Each new year, I suggest starting it off with setting goals. I think it would be great for you all to have conversations with your children about some of the goals they are working towards. When you do, please use the language of the Power of Yet. You can talk with them about our goals and the goals they are trying to accomplish “yet.”
Let’s all do the best we can to make second semester a great one where we all work towards bettering ourselves in all aspects of our lives.
Have a great New Year!
Mr. Damian Fay
Shout Out From Mrs. Henson
I hope your family is enjoying the break and that you all take time to relax and have fun!
We'd like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank our 5th grade Fall Ambassadors. The Ambassadors have worked several of our school events and have helped in a variety of ways including: setting up for assemblies, welcoming guests, serving lunch to the Veterans, and assisting families during our Thanksgiving Lunch and Grandparent's Day. We've had numerous people share with us how impressed they have been with how polite, respectful and hard working our Ambassadors have been this semester!
The Fall Ambassadors are:
Colin Ashby, Josie Blanton, Leah Czerniewski, Lydia Davis, Alex Daut, Ananna English, Nick Fitzgerald, Emily Ganniger, Ava Graber, Lucas Gutierrez, Olivia Harte, Ava Henson, Alyson Jones, Darren Larimore, Taylor Moomey, Elijah Quest, Kirthi Ramesh, Elly Revelle, Ella Sawyer
Faith Theede-Highfill, Madeline Tierney, Payton Unnerstall, and Dale Whitmore
The Ambassadors have been great role models and have done a wonderful job displaying Corgi Pride!
Again, enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing you back at school in January!
Happy New Year!!
Mrs. Kristen Henson
