Dear Parents and Families,
It's hard to believe we have completed the first trimester! Our students and our teachers have been working so hard on the grade level standards in reading, math, and science. Our specialists have also been working hard in music, library, and PE.
This week report cards will be coming home on Thursday afternoon. We have adopted a new report card, and I think you are going to like how easy it is to see how your students are doing. A letter will be coming home with the report cards to explain the new codes; however, our scoring on 1-4 scale has not changed. Remember that the standards are expected to be learned by the end of the school year, so it will be expected for them to not have mastered every
If you have questions about your student's report card, please contact their classroom teacher. Our teachers will be happy to answer any concerns or questions you may have.
Happy December!
~Mrs. Dawson

Midland needs volunteers!
Please consider being a Midland Super Hero by coming to our rescue and volunteering to attend JA BizTown and/or 5th grade camp!
December 16th 5th grade students will be applying civic and economic lessons as they fulfill various “jobs” needed to run a city. They will be in Auburn for the day.
We are also looking for volunteers to go to 5th grade camp, March 4th – 6th.
