LCAP Summit
Save the Date: LCAP Forum Set for Mar. 2
The Long Beach Unified School District will co-host a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Community Forum with community groups from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 2 at Cabrillo High School, 2001 Santa Fe Avenue in Long Beach.
The event will help parents and community members learn about the district’s progress to close the achievement gap by making the most of state funding from the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Participants will have an opportunity to review and study school district data and budget information in order to contribute feedback about LBUSD’s use of LCFF funds in the next school year.
The LCAP Community Forum is one more way the district is engaging stakeholders in the planning process. For more information, visit www.lbschools.net.
