We are nearing the end of Unit 1. Students will have their final Summative for Unit 1. They will begin taking ANET on Tuesday. They will be applying all of the skills they’ve learned throughout this unit. Students are prepared for this Summative. We’ve practiced applying the skills and they’ve had reteach lessons that helped to clear up any misunderstandings that may have been lurking.
This week, students will be introduced to Reading Plus. I will send out a Parent Guide to explain the program later this week. It is a very helpful tool in Clever that will help build student’s vocabulary, fluency, and vocabulary. Another helpful reminder, please review Aspen with your child. It is important to go through Aspen in order to discuss a plan for student’s to make up any missing assessments, class work, and homework.
