We are getting ready for College and Career Activities
Monday, May 21 - Careers on Wheels for all grade levels. Tiseo Paving will show a concrete truck. MPD is providing crime scene investigation vehicle, mounted police, bicycles units and a motor unit. MFD will be showcasing an ambulance and fire truck. CoServ will be bringing a bucket truck and an arcing demonstration. Rohr Ballons will demonstrate hot air balloon efficiency. Phi Air Medical will be joining us in one of their helicopters.
Tuesday, May 22 - Third through fifth graders will participate in classes lead by a 911 Operator, a Secret Service agent, a Fire Fighter, a Pilot, a US Navy representative, Nothing Bundt Cake manager and a representative from Cedar Cross Ranch who uses horses in therapy. Other speakers are still to be determined.
Wednesday - Friday, May 23 - 25 - Fifth grade students will be presenting their College Research project to second through fourth grade students. All students will be taking a 'college walk' to view the research projects displayed in the upper hallway.
Each morning, college items will be available to students between 7:30 - 7:50 upon completion of one of the souvenir give away forms shown below. These forms will be available to students who are interested in partaicipating.
