Faithfulness Trait
I asked three students what faithfulness meant to them, and these were their answers. Stephen, from fifth grade, said that you show faith when you put your trust in God. Lily and Sam, from sixth grade, said that when you are faithful to someone you tell them the truth. Matthew, from the ninth grade, said faith is believing in something without seeing it first. The Bible verse we are using this month is Psalm 89:1- “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Make sure to implement faithfulness in your lives this month! –Kennedy Vaughn
Survey Says: Sweet candy or sour candy?
Although it was a hard choice, the majority of our CCA students voted for sour candy!
Sweet candy gets blamed for cavities and getting kids hyped up; however, sour candy is actually the worst thing you can eat for your teeth. Who knew? -Maddie
Administrator Spotlight. Mrs. Ritchie
Mrs. Ritchie is the lead administrator at CCA. She grew up in southeast Missouri in a farming community called Bernie and attended college at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She is married to Steve and has one daughter, Miranda.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching all sports. She also enjoys singing, reading, and watching movies. Her current favorite Bible verse is Nehemiah 8:10, which says, "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength," and the people she looks up to the most are her parents. --Devoney
