Baby Steps to Improve Health

Taking a few small steps to change lifestyle habits can get you on your way to a healthier, happier you! Unsure where to start? Here's some tips!

Set out easy-to-eat fruit // Grapes, clementines, and other sweet fruits are a fast and easy snack, sure to ease your sweet tooth

Add an hour of sleep to your schedule // Good sleep helps your body function better, 7-9 quality hours of sleep per night is recommended

Replace one drink per day with water // Say au revoir to one of those sodas or sports drinks and replace it with a glass of crisp, refreshing water

Daily relaxation // Don't have a ton of free time? No problem! Take 15-20 minutes daily to practice yoga, meditation, coloring books, whatever makes you feel the most stress free

Slow down at mealtime // Make sure you're giving your body time to register that it's consuming food and getting full - you'll end up reducing your calorie intake

Walk a little more // This is genuinely as easy as it sounds; parking a little bit farther away from the door at the store adds a couple of minutes to your walk time

Add variety to your salad // Replace lettuce with spinach, red lettuce, and/or other leafy vegetables that are higher in nutrients [Bonus points if you can grow your own!]
