Requirements
There is 3 requirements to become a president. First, you need to be born in the United States, you have to be atleast 35 years old, and lastly, you would need to have lived here for 14+ years.
First Step to Become President - Primaries and Cacuses
Presidential canidates would need to start running at least a year before. Caucus runners will choose delagates who will represent them in the next level. The Primary is then held at regular polling stations. You may want to find a location that is high inn your political parties vote. For example if you're running for democrat you may want to campaign in the northeat or west coast, and if your a republican campaign in the south or midwest. They also help us narrow down the people running.
Second Step - National Convention
At the convention, it will glorify the person who achieved most delagates and will inform the media and general public on the parties leaders, vice president nominees, and goals. Or let them know the platform of their party. Must campaign to get name out and known. At your convention, you will want maybe some food or entertainment and a really strong emphysis on you campaign so people remmeber why you in particular stood out from the rest of the competition.
Third step - General Election
After their convention, the nominees face off a couple months before the election. They say their strengths and goals and try to out do their componets. A lot of advertisements and rallying would help you with this. Ads on tv, radio, newspaper or maybe even forign countries to get your name out.
Last Step to Become President
Electoral College
You will need to win 270 votes for some of the 50 states. Then the electoral college casts its vote and then you are either inagurated or not.
