Spring has Sprung...
Just a few reminders for your yard...
- Now is a good time to put fertilizer, bug killer, and weed killer down.
- It is also a great time to put down new sod in areas where it has died off. Sod prevents soil erosion and it keeps your yard from becoming an eyesore.
- Check your sprinklers to make sure they are working properly.
- Due to a water variance, our watering days are Tuesday and Saturday.
Friendly reminder, due to us living in a zero-lot-line community, if you are having repairs done that will require a company to enter the private property of your neighbor, please talk with your neighbor and ask their permission before allowing someone to do so.
Standards walk: Once the sidewalks are completed, the board will walk the neighborhood to see if repairs have been made. Many houses still have white picket fences that need repair and painting.
Bylaw change
The board is working on rewording the bylaw change that was voted on at the last annual meeting, which did not pass. With the help of a lawyer, the new proposed bylaw change to Article 6.1.d would state that the HOA is responsible for maintenance only between the curb and the white picket fences. Maintenance means mowing, edging, and leaf pick-up.
