Additionally, an event like that doesn't just happen and it surely doesn't just happen everywhere. This is a special place where we are all fortunate to work. I want to thank Andy, Bru, Amye, Chris and everyone else who made the retirement celebration a night to remember!

Tuesday, 5/21 - A Day
- Everlasting Monsoon Concert: 6th grade - 8:45 - 9:15 am; 5th grade - 9:30 - 10:00 am. Students will go to the assembly with the class they are in at the time. Students will leave their belongings in the room and will return to that class after the assembly, then move on to the next class if it is time.
- FT - Gray Team to Reds Hall of Fame - 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
- 6th Grade Celebration - 8:30 am - White and Gray Teams
- 6th Grade Celebration - 10:30 am - Purple and Blue Teams

6th Grade Celebration - Wednesday, May 22nd
Staff: Please remember to park in the back of the school so that the parking area is cleared for the parents. Thank you!
Reminder - a notice went out about lunch during the 6th grade celebration. Remind students that lunch will be served in the Old Gym. They are welcome to eat in the Old Gym or outside behind the gym. If they are going to eat outside, they may want to bring a blanket or towel. Additionally, they may want to bring or wear sunscreen. Blue and Purple Teams students should report back to their homerooms immediately following the 6th Grade Celebration reception. Then they will proceed to lunch.
ALL HOMEROOM TEACHERS NEED TO REMIND STUDENTS TO BRING BEACH TOWELS AND SUNSCREEN FOR THE OUTDOOR LUNCH.

While we will never really replace Carol, we found an excellent math teacher for the Blue Team! Hailee Hallquist will be joining the Greene School team. Hailee comes to us from West Clermont Middle School. Please reach out to Hailee and welcome her to Greene: haileehallquist@gmail.com

STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP THROUGH WRITING: Practical Strategies for Writing into Joy and Courage
This one-day Ohio Writing Project summer workshop is designed specifically for K-12 Administrators and Teacher Leaders. Join us for a day that focuses on you!
Date: Wednesday, June 12, 2019
Location: Miami University Voice of America Campus
I-75 & Tylersville Road in West Chester
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Muffins and Coffee from 8:30 – 9:00)
Cost: $70.00 ( Lunch included)
Why: As school leaders, our minds and time are pulled in so many directions yet we want to lead with joy in a world filled with stress. Join OWP and local K-12 Administrators and Teacher Leaders for a one-day summer workshop designed around the practical strategies for strengthening your leadership through writing. Participants will discuss current professional voices in literacy and leadership, experience the role of writing in developing their own leadership work, and envision ways to extend the power of literacy in practical ways.
