Open PTO Positions & Last PTO Meeting

The last PTO Meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 5:45 p.m. in the Library. This is our annual voting meeting for next year's board positions. This meeting takes place in the middle of the Book Fair and in between two school performances so that more people are in attendance to vote.

Ever feel like you don't know what's going on at the school? One way to feel more connected is to join the PTO and serve on a committee. You'll meet new people, have a voice in important decisions, and get to know the staff and teachers better.

Here are some of the positions that are currently open for the 2019-2020 school year. Let us know where you would like to help. (Position Descriptions)

  • Membership Co-Chair (2/2 positions open)
  • Volunteer Co-Coordinator (training position to take over in 2020-2021 - work this year will be light)
  • Spring Fundraiser Co-Chair (1/2 positions open - many hands make light work)
  • Auditor (1/3 positions open - work performed at the end of 2019-2020 school year)
  • Landscaping (Help us beautify Ride - do work alone or coordinate a team)
  • Recycling (We want someone passionate about recycling to re-boot the recycling program)
  • Red Wagon Parade (Coordinate Ride's participation in the College Park H.S. Homecoming Parade)

Contact Alena Gunn to volunteer and with any questions - agunn22@gmail.com.

Library Volunteers Needed

Library volunteers fill a very important role, as it frees up the librarian to spend more time teaching and helping our students foster a love of reading. By getting the books back out on the shelves as quickly as possible it allows the children to have a wide variety of books to choose from.

Below you will find the link to our Signup page.

Thank you all for your continued consideration and support. We look forward to working with you!
