UNITY DAY 2022
October is National Bully Prevention Month and we will be sharing short lessons throughout the month to prevent bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. In effort to bring awareness to the negative effects that bullying has on all of us, we are asking students and staff to wear ORANGE on Wednesday October 19th

Community Flu Clinic: 10/24/22
Goodhue County Public Health and Homeland Health Specialists are bringing Influenza vaccination clinics to Red Wing soon!
Simply bring a copy of your Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, HealthPartners, Medica, PreferredOne, United Healthcare, or Medicare with supplemental insurance.
Those over 18 yrs of age, without insurance, can purchase a vaccination for $40, FluMist (if available) for $45 or Senior Dose (if available) for $70.
Homeland Health is a MN Vaccines for Children Provider and will offer flu vaccine to uninsured children 6 months to 18 years of age.

It's that time of year when scholarship opportunities are being sent to the high school on your behalf. Please make sure you are checking the CAREER CENTER/College & Scholarship Information bulletin board outside the Activities Office in lower H pod regularly for newly arriving scholarships!
SENIORS: Apply for FREE to Minnesota State colleges and universities in October!
October is College Knowledge Month and to celebrate, the colleges and universities of Minnesota State are waiving their application fees for the entire month.
That’s what we call Minnesota State Month!
Minnesota State Month is a great time to explore the 33 colleges and universities that make up Minnesota State. Special campus visit events are planned at many of the Minnesota State campuses during the MEA break on October 20-21, but you can also visit any other time during the month. Just contact the colleges or universities you want to visit from the list below.
And you can apply for FREE to one or more of the 26 colleges and seven state universities at any time during October—it’s a great way to save a few bucks and get started on your journey to your dream career!

SENIORS: FAFSA Information!
Are you or someone you know applying to college this year? We can help! Join us this fall for a series of college and financial aid webinars created specifically for students and families to help them prepare for the college-going process. All sessions will be on Tuesday evenings and approximately one hour long with a short presentation from financial aid experts. Interpreters will be available in Spanish, Hmong and Somali. And, your questions will be answered live in the chat. Students who attend these sessions will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $500 scholarships!
