A Note from the Principal
A Green Knight to Remember this past Saturday was a great success, and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring together people from our school and parish communities to celebrate and support Catholic education at Saint Paschal Baylon School. It was an evening full of food, fellowship, and fun! Thank you to all of the families who were able to support our school that evening whether it be by simply being present, bidding on an auction item, or sharing what makes this community of faith so special. Also, thank you to the small but mighty core committee who worked diligently to organize such a wonderful event. All of the proceeds from this event will be directed to our school for the benefit of our students.
I would be remiss not to recognize Mr. Mike Rossi and Deacon Joe Bourgeois who were honored during A Green Knight to Remember. Mr. Rossi and Deacon Joe are two very special people who have been great supporters of our school and parish for many, many years. Their commitment and dedication to our parish and school are beyond measure. We have been truly blessed by their leadership, selflessness, and generosity.
Finally, please keep our eighth graders and parent chaperones traveling to Washington, D.C. this weekend in your prayers. Please pray that they are protected as they travel and that they return safely home. I hope they enjoy this special trip with their classmates!
Blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
Veterans' Day Breakfast
Our first graders honored veterans this past Monday and treated them to a light breakfast, songs and poems, artwork and special letters of appreciation. Thank you to Mrs. Yanick and Mrs. Zernic who organized the rousing patriotic celebration, and to Mrs. Orlando and Mrs. Andru for helping with the treats. Judging by these smiling faces, a fine time was had by all.

GRADES 5-6 PARENTS/ GUARDIANS-we need you!
The links for November for Grade 6, and December for Grade 5 can be found below. With the holiday season just ahead, we know that you will want to get the dates that work for your busy schedule!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 6, Grade 5.
