My name is Eric Holt, and I am Principal of Lago Vista Middle School. I hope that everyone had a nice summer and is looking forward to an amazing school year. I wanted to write a quick note to introduce myself as well as share some important dates coming up and other information.

First off, Meet The Teacher Night is in one week, Thursday, August 11th from 5:30 - 7:00. There will be a 6th Grade/New Teacher Meeting at 5:30 in the cafeteria, and student schedules will be handed out after the meeting (about 5:45). 7th and 8th grade schedules will be handed out in the Upper Gym.

There will be a Meet The Coaches Football Meeting at 5:00 PM, and a Girls Athletics Meeting at 7:00 PM. Both meetings will be in the Upper Gym. Coach Jackson will be available during Meet The Teacher Night to answer questions about Boys Athletics and order uniforms.

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 17th and I have attached the bell schedule below. Thankfully, we were able to find a few solutions with the bus routes and we were able to maintain our 8:30AM start time. Doors will open at 8:00 AM. More details about drop off and pick up will be shared at Meet the Teacher Night and in future newsletters.

3rd Period: 10:22 - 11:14

4th Period: 11:18 - 12:12

Lunch/Advisory: 12:14 - 12:44

Lunch/Advisory: 12:48 - 1:18

5th Period: 1:22 - 2:14

6th Period: 2:18 - 3:10

7th Period: 3:14 - 4:05
