We are all unique! - Todos somos únicos.
Each child at Hillcrest School created their own snowflake sharing why they are "unique, just like each snowflake is unique." Children were encouraged to identify one thing that makes them special. Their snowflakes are posted around the school outside their homerooms. We are so lucky to have such special children here at HC!
Cada niño de la escuela Hillcrest creó su propio copo de nieve compartiendo por qué son "únicos, igual que cada copo de nieve es único". Se animó a los niños a que identificaran una cosa que les hace especiales. Sus copos de nieve están expuestos por toda la escuela fuera de sus aulas. Tenemos mucha suerte de tener niños tan especiales en HC.

Morris Museum Madness! - La locura del Museo Morris
At the Monday, January 30th professional development, some of our HC staff competed in a scavenger hunt against Woodland School's staff. Not only were teachers able to identify learning opportunities for their students, but they also made connections from our school community to our local community. We are so excited for the rich opportunity the museum brings to all stakeholders. If you have not had the chance to check out the Morris Museum, be sure to visit their website! Some of our favorites included the Spark Lab and the train set!

They are looking for volunteers who have a strong connection to their heritage/country to lead/sponsor classrooms. The following are examples to be included:
