Tuesday, November 24th is virtual B-day
Monday:
On Monday and Tuesday, students will follow the schedule below. Monday is an A day and A day students will log in to their google classroom and attend class each hour via the google meet link in their google classroom. Instruction will only be for about 10-20 minutes and the remainder of the hour will be independent practice. B day students on Monday will spend it doing their normal routine that they have followed when they were at home.

- Curbside meal pickup (including 5 days of meals) is available on Monday, November 23, at PCMS and Barry locations from 11 am-12:30 pm.
- Activities and practices will proceed as planned on these days. Please refer to information provided by coaches/sponsors.
Parent Survey

The Platte County School District is conducting its annual parent survey to gather feedback on strengths of the district, as well as areas to consider for growth. We want to make sure every parent is heard so we can make meaningful improvements in our District and schools.
If you have not already, we ask that you complete the survey by clicking on the link below. If you have more than one student, please be sure to answer those questions for each building. Counseling Center
KC SCHOLARS
Parents - If you have a junior or freshman, be sure to check out savings match and scholarship opportunities offered by KC Scholars!JUNIORS can apply for a scholarship worth $10,000/year, renewable for up to 5 years. FRESHMEN can apply for the college savings match program.
There is also an ADULT LEARNER program if you or someone you know may be interested. Check out the links below for more information! Some basic eligibility requirements for traditional and savings match: -Low or modest income (see website for details) -2.5 GPA or 16 on the ACT

Post Secondary Virtual Opportunities

FAFSA
Reminder to Senior parents - this is THE TIME to complete the FAFSA & College Applications. Complete the FAFSA even if you don't think you will qualify for financial aid.
21-22 Course Selections
Parents we have almost finished visiting with Juniors about 21-22 course choices and will begin visiting with Sophomores. Please ask your child to see their ICAP!

Northland CAPS (NCAPS)
The application for NCAPS is not available yet, but as soon as it is we will send out an update
The flyer linked below is about the recruiting events for Northland CAPS.
There are virtual events for the program as a whole and virtual shadowing events that students can sign up for so they can see about specific strands that they might be interested in.
Students can sign up and will be sent a calendar invite with the link to join the Teams event.

Now Hiring - Substitutes
- Long-Term Substitute: $18.67 per hour (after completion of 5 consecutive days on same job)
- On-Call Substitute: $15.33 per hour (if used day of)
- Substitute: $13.33 per hour
