One Word Challenge
You can read about my process in finding my "One Word" and what my this year's word will be on my blog Thelemteacher.blogspot.com
Some people tweet their word using the hashtag #oneword2017, or share it on Facebook. I have made a One Word Padlet, it might be interesting to see our words in one place. Just click on this Padlet link, then double click on an empty space, type your name and word.
For every person that takes the "time" to select a word and put it on the Padlet, I will give you a gift of "time". Details will be sent to you individually after your word is on the Padlet.
Blended Learning
This is one way that it could work... You could find videos on each standard (or the one you are focusing on) then embed them/it on your webpage. Make a QR Code for your webpage and place it in your student's daily folder. A note to parents with instructions to scan the code and allow the students to watch the video would also be helpful. A few sites you could use to find videos are Edpuzzle, TeacherTube, YouTube, Teaching Channel, or you could make your own!
This Blended Learning approach allows families to be involved with the learning that is happening in your classroom, just another way to get them involved! Please let me know if I can help you!
