CBI 2020!
Hello Teachers and Staff,
It is time to pull together our CBI plans for next year! Follow this link to the CBI Friday Resources Folder and click on the CBI Module Overview 2019-20 to add your module ideas and who you are facilitating with. Once you get you Module down, you can work with your co-facilitator (if you have one) to plan the activities. All weekly plans for Round 1 must be submitted to Colleen by May 31st. Some ideas have been listed already. If you would like to facilitate any of those ideas, type your name next to it. Plan all your rounds through the end of the year if you can!
TRICKS TO MAKE GOOGLE DOCS EASY
Add documents to your "My Drive" for easy access!
You can add any documents and folders that have been shared with you to your "My Drive". For example, once you're on the CBI Friday Resources page, click on the "CBI Friday Resources" words near the top of the page and click "Add/Move to My Drive" in the drop down menu. Or click on the "" symbol near the top of the page. Do this for all important documents that are shared with you.
Folders
- When organizing loose documents, create folders by topic on your main "My Drive" page
- Inside the main topic folders, create folders by school year or sub-topics so it is easy to assign places for new documents or locate what you are looking for. Too many loose documents on your main page makes it difficult to find what you need. (think of a file drawer with hanging files as the main topics, and file folders as the sub topics.)
- Folders are automatically arranged alphabetically at the top of the list. Loose documents are listed below the folders.
- Click on any of the column headers (Name, Owner, Last Modified) to arrange the list differently.
Assign Colors!
Right click on the picture of any folder and change the color so it is easy to see.
Minneapolis Parks- Special Olympics- Bocce Ball
Special Olympics Bocce Ball - Share this with families please.
Let Melissa know if you need to have some paper copies.
Pictures Please!
It’s that time again!
Please send informal pictures of your 2019 graduates and other students, to be included in the graduation slide show/ Tplus movie.
You can email pictures to Mary Bock, text them to her at 612-845-4849, upload them to this shared folder on GD, or bring your device to her room & she’ll take care of it. The tech media team and Mary will double check for media releases, crop/edit the photos etc. Very short videos are fine too!
Mailing Reminders
When sending U.S. mail to students and families, the envelope should be addressed to a parent or guardian if the student lives in a multi-housing unit.
We get mail returned due to the mail being addressed to the student. It is likely that the student's name is not on the mailbox.
For instance - Mail carrier's don't know who lives in apartment #2. They only know who lives there by who's name is on the mailbox.
Don't let your mail get delayed.
Needs for Changing Rooms
We are in need of plastic bags for all the changing rooms
Also, PLEASE do NOT flush the wipes down the toilet-
the toilets are getting plugged with wipes
