I can't believe we are in the final week of the 22/23 school year.

As we sprint into the final 6 days of the school year I want to take a moment to celebrate a few of our amazing team members:


Thank you to Mrs. Skoglund for being such a pillar at Willard. Her passion for reading, equity, and so much more are just a small part of why we love her & will truly miss her at Willard.

We wish you well on your new journey.


Thank you to our PTA!

Our PTA is responsible for so many wonderful elements of our school. The support that each of you provide through monetary gifts, volunteer support is crucial to our school.


Our PTA has done an amazing job creating our school yearbook, planning family night events, making teacher appreciation week a huge success for our teachers, and so much more. Their partnership in our school equity work is beyond appreciated & valued.


Thank you to our executive board & to our PTA Co-Presidents: Melissa Denton, Sarah Gordon, & Danielle Cohen for leading the charge.

MUSIC UPDATES

As we wind down the school year we are looking forward to the Hootenanny music festival on May 30, 2023 7pm at the Fleetwood Jourdain Center.


We are also looking forward to offering our first ever Summer Rock Camp! June 12-16, 2023. There are scholarships available! thanks to the generosity of D65 Foundation. If you are interested in a scholarship please contact Mr. Fuerte at fuertea@district65.net

The start of kindergarten is an exciting new adventure and our school cannot wait to welcome our new students and families into our community! Registration is currently underway for the 2023-2024 school year. DISTRICT-WIDE EVENTS & UPDATES

SY24 Student School Fees

After two years of using federal funding to purchase student instructional supplies, the District is going back to local funds and parent fees to fund the program.


This summer, families will be charged student supply fees ($50 for a full fee student and $25 for a student on reduced lunch) while students on free lunch will be exempt from the fee. The fees were approved by the Board in December of 2022.
