Session Description:

Are you struggling with staff members and parents who only want to "admire the problem?" This session will help you as a counselor build a sense of belonging in your school community for staff, students, and parents. We will work on how we can reframe situations to better serve our school community.

MSCA Board of Director Candidates - Don't Forget to Vote!

As approved during the 2016 Delegate Assembly meeting, MSCA is moving to a 9-member Board of Directors. The first three of these directors will be elected during the 2017 Fall Conference. On-line voting will open on October 24 on the MSCA website at www.moschoolcounselor.org and conclude on Tuesday, November 7. Paid MSCA members may only vote once for the three candidates of their choice. The winners will be announced during the Closing Session on Tuesday, November 7. Candidates are Matthew Berry, Jeanine Davison, Nancy Doubrava, Becky Houtchens, Lori Kayser, Linda Meadows, and Tosha Todd.
