GO COYOTES !!!!!

Meet Ms. Diquattro

The creative mind of a child blossoms into passion for teaching art.

Some people use art as a form of personal expression, others get lost in a dance or song as a way to escape from the stress of day-to-day life. Regardless of what it’s used for the arts play a large role in the lives of people world wide. New CHS art teacher, Demi Diquattro, would be one of those people.

COUNSELORS CORNER

The counseling department has been busy! We had a great Application Day and FAFSA night with our seniors, an excellent turnout of Juniors and Sophomores for the PSAT, a fun tour of the University of Arizona, had EVIT on campus to share information during lunch, and hosted CAC for an informational assembly regarding the First Step Program (free college credits while in high school) and the Promise for the Future. We were also excited to offer the first Parent University night where we had a great presentation about the prevalence and dangers of vaping.

There are several upcoming activities that are designed to benefit our students and share information with families:

  • November 6: NAU Field Trip for Seniors and Juniors
  • November 8: EVIT assembly for Sophomores
  • November 15: Parent University - Signs of Suicide
  • November 27-29: Signs of Suicide Presentations in classes
  • November 30: ASU Field Trip
