What's Buzzin' at Bryant

Week of October 16, 2023

A Message from Mrs. Johnson

Hello Bryant families,

On October 19th Bryant, along with all other RUSD schools, will participate in California’s Great Shake Out. The drill is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:10 AM I may last approximately 45 minutes. Please be aware that during the drill access to the campus will be restricted. Parents will not be able to check students out or bring students to school tardy while the drill is in progress. Anyone that is on campus at the start of the drill will be expected to participate in the drill. If you have appointments for your child on October 19, please be sure to plan accordingly.

We still need your help! About half of our school population that has not finalized the parent data confirmation process. This is an important step in ensuring the information on file with the site and school district is accurate. If you have not already done so, please be sure to finalize this process by October 27th. If you need help, you can stop by the front office. We have chromebook sets up so we can support parents as needed.

As always, thank you so much for being such wonderful partners. Have a fantastic week!

Big picture

Aeries Data Confirmation

Bryant families! We still have about 50% of our school population that has not finalized thier data confirmation in Aeries. This process is important to ensure we have all of the most current information related to parent and emergency contact info. Parent must also update all district permission forms. If you have not already finalized your data confirmation, please do so by October 27, 2023. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and attention to this important matter.

Walk-Bike to School Day!

Active trips to school enable children to incorporate the regular physical activity they need each day while also forming healthy habits that can last a lifetime. Regular physical activity helps children build strong bones, muscles and joints. In contrast, insufficient physical activity can contribute to chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer and stroke. On October 18th, Bryant will be participating in Walk-Bike to School Day! Please join us at Starbucks on the corner of Market and 3rd at 7:15 am. We will meet there as a school community and then walk-bike to school together. See you then!

Shout Out to Poly High’ ASB

Thank you so much to the Poly Bears for coming to Bryant to train our Student Council. We appreciate your leadership as our cluster high school. Thank you for helping to train the next Poly High School ASB members.
