Where Are You From?
Last month we shared a picture of our World Map Board but it has been growing ever since! Thanks to all of you for submitting the survey, we learned a lot more about where our preschool families are from. Check out the latest picture of our board. We can't be more proud of our diverse community.

Ideas to Keep Kids Engaged Over the Winter Break
Kids in the Kitchen: Let your child(ren) help plan and cook meals. Pick a recipe together and talk about the food groups and why making healthy choices matters. Tap into their math skills with measuring, strengthen fine motor muscles with mixing, and expand their vocabulary with all the cool kitchen gadgets.
Family Game Night: Enjoy the time spent with your family and engage in an age-appropriate game. Try Candyland, Connect Four, or Go Fish. Playing games encourages a variety of social and cognitive skills.
Read Together: There is no single activity that promotes more joy, bonding, and conversation than reading together. After the story, encourage children to retell it or express their creativity by drawing a picture about a favorite character.
Get Outside: Explore a new park, visit a hiking trail, or just stroll the neighborhood. Wherever you go, explore and discover the great outdoors!
M.O.M.S. Group Doing Great Things Together!
At the last M.O.M.S. Meeting this December, a group of Moms got together for a hands on project that was for Deirdre's House in Morristown, a place for children who have experienced trauma.
It was a lovely evening filled with meaningful conversation and connections. Together we were able to hand sew special gifts for children in need. Thanks to the Morristown Pizzeria for donating a wonderful dinner. Our next MOMS Group is scheduled for February 15, 2023 from 5:30-6:30. Might we see YOU there? Email blake.faison@msdk12.net if you'd like to learn more!
