Teacher appreciation: May 2-6th is teacher appreciation week. We have an amazing PTC who will be doing many things throughout the week to honor ALL staff including teachers during this week. Look forward to a fun week of well deserved recognition.
Volunteer recognition: We will be recognizing our parent volunteers at the all school meeting on May 6th. Please send an invitation to each volunteer you would like to honor.
Please send Karoline your volunteer names to be included in the Google slide presentation. Have your posters brought to the first grade pod by Thursday, May 5th. We will hang them up in the gym.
All school meeting: See the agenda for the all school meeting on May 6th. We will be starting at 2:45 to build in more time for our volunteer recognition. Please have you grade level reps prepared to share a few words about their volunteers. These students will be speaking at the all school meeting. Leadership meeting: We will be meeting on Monday, May 2nd for a leadership meeting at 8:05 in the conference room.

Earth Day presentation at MDE
Our 5th graders and preschoolers shared their ESTEM work at MDE.
This preschooler knew exactly what to share and was not afraid to share it.

Kindergarten and 3rd grade tasted the syrup they had created from the collected sap.
Kindergarteners and Ms. Seidensticker celebrated their hard work showing classroom expectations.
The 4th and 5th graders did an excellent job sharing their "Hidden Treasure" performance on Tuesday. Thank you to Sherrie and Chris for a wonderful concert. It was amazing to hear and see all the talented students.
Vertical learning team
Staff dug into authentic writing and shared observations and next steps with vertical colleagues both below and above their grade levels. We learned a lot about our writers and have a lot to celebrate this year.
