Drivers Clinic
The three-step NSSA (National Show Ski Association) Tested Drivers’ programconsists of education, participation and evaluation (written and practical) and is designed not only to improve the quality of show ski driving, but also to maintain it. The program instructs show ski drivers, beginner through advanced, on how to safely operate a towboat during a USA Water Ski-sanctioned club practice, ski show exhibition or tournament.
Kevin Hayes, a nationally Certified Boat Driving Instructor via USWaterSki Association/National Show Ski Association was gracious enough in traveling to Lake St Louis. He splits his time between Lakeland, Florida and Warsaw, Indiana.
Here are the new certifications that were awarded:
Terry Knowlton-Class C (Triple Rig Certified)
Ted Woods-Class C (Triple Rig Certified)
Scotty Patton-Class A (Inboard Certified)
Kurt Lynn-Class A (Inboard Certified)
Randy Landman-Class A Learner's Permit

And a big thank you to the club's other drivers, skiers and other support staff for helping out with the clinic over the weekend!
Thanks, Kim
And thank YOU Kimmy!

Community Night at Jefferson Point
June 21
July 19
July 26
Your Activities Director Angie Hopping has been busy organizing these special events. On June 21st she is excited to announce we will have Mann Meats food truck and Sia’s Italian Ice truck! There will also be an outdoor movie shown after the ski show (to be announced as that date approaches! Stay tuned!)
Ski show will begin at approximately 6:30pm. You are welcome to bring coolers and lawn chairs.
If you come by boat we ask that you maintain idle speed and anchor beyond the no-wake buoys. The beach will be utilized during the ski show as a landing area for the skiers as well as the main stage for choreographed dances and skits.
All Ski Club members are encouraged to attend the Community Nights and reach out to attendees meeting and greeting as many people as possible! You are also encouraged to volunteer for concessions on these designated dates! You may sign up to volunteer on the Ski Club website (www.lslski.com)
