Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 1 Issue 37 - 5/29/22

Greetings Clipper Nation!

Our seniors will graduate on Wednesday, June 1st at 3:30. To accommodate our 3:30 graduation, JMB will have a three-hour early dismissal day on June 1st. If you are planning to attend the commencement ceremony, please, remember that everyone must have a ticket to get into the Civic Center. Please also remember that this is a formal ceremony, and the appropriate behavior of students and guests will be of utmost importance.

Maryland MCAP and HSA testing make-ups will be occurring throughout this week. Students taking Algebra I, Government, English 10, and/or Biology who missed taking the assessment last week will be doing makeup testing this week. Please be reminded that Maryland State Assessments are graduation requirements, so please, make attendance a priority this week. Also, testers should make sure to bring a fully charged school-issued laptop and their charger for testing.

We still have several days of school left before the summer break. Please remind your student to make sure they are in attendance each day, that they get to class on time, attend all of their classes, and that they are putting forth their best effort academically.

Students who need to register for summer schools can do so starting on June 1st. They should work with their guidance counselor to get registered. More information is below.

How do I Stay in the Know?

The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
