Pyrett's Points
Hello-
January seems to be flying by! Actually this entire school year seems to be moving at a fast pace. With that being said, I wanted to share some information with you in regards to the next few months. This Friday is a half day with dismissal at 11:35. We are also having Super Student for the students that earned this activity on Friday. Students could only earn one red office referral and/or one yellow office referral. For the month of February, the criteria will be the same as it was for January. Next month our focus will be on respect and what that looks like in the school.
Student Council is selling wood roses as a fundraiser. Flowers are $1.00 each or $25.00 for the entire class and teacher. All money must be submitted for orders by Friday, February 4th. The flowers will then be delivered on February 14th.
Thank you for all of your support as we navigate this school year.

Attendance/Drop Off and Pick Up
Please remember that students are NOT to be released from vehicles until 8:35 each morning. We do not have staff outside monitoring until 8:35 and this is when we have our crossing guard to help students cross the drop off lane.
We have been having issues at the end of the day with students being called out of class early. It is our obligation to protect instructional time. Our teachers are teaching until the end of each day. Beginning October 26, 2021 if you need to get your child out of school early you will have to pick up your child by 3:00pm. This will be considered a half day absence. If you do not pick up your child by 3:00 they will be called out of class at 3:25 for pick up. Parents will need to use the everyday pickup line while staying in their vehicles. If students have changes to end of day transportation we will make that announcement at 3:20.
