Original Works

As a reminder, the Original Works orders are due by Monday, 11/5. This is a great chance to order holiday gifts or treasures with your special person's artwork on it!

Report Cards

Our first quarter elementary report cards were sent out yesterday through Alma. You should have received the report card electronically. You do not need to sign and return anything; we have moved to a completely "green" system for our report cards!

As you know, the format of our report cards has changed this year to allow additional information on your student's progress. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or administration if you have any questions or concerns.

Student Attendance

Please be reminded that our school day begins at 8:15 a.m. All elementary students must be in class by that time in order to not be counted tardy; students arriving after 8:15 will need a tardy pass from the office. We know that mornings can sometimes be a struggle, but it is very important that all students be in class to begin the instructional day promptly at 8:15. Thank you for your help in getting our instructional day started!

Time Change

Just a reminder to set your clocks back - and enjoy an extra hour of sleep - on Saturday night as daylight saving time ends.

Costume Donations

As Halloween is now over, we would love to have any used costumes that you no longer want. These are great to use as dress up for our dramatic play. Please bring them to the office. Thank you!

Open House - Math and Literature Night - Thursday, November 8

We would like to invite all families to the elementary school next Thursday evening between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. as all classrooms (Pre-K 2 through 6th Grades) will have wonderful family-oriented math and literature activities! This is a great opportunity to visit with the classroom teachers, see the different classes, and have a wonderful evening of family fun while you learn! We look forward to seeing you all there; all ages are welcome!

Parenting Resources - Illness

As we move into winter season, illness seems to become a bigger issue for our children. We have already had a few cases of flu, strep throat, etc., and we want to keep all of our children healthy and at school learning. Please be reminded that children need to stay home from school if they are experiencing symptoms of illness. Here is a great article to help keep your children healthy this winter!
