Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences are an important way for you connect with your child's teachers regarding your child's progress in school. Your participation in parent-teacher conferences sends a strong message to your child that you care about their education and helps build a strong connection between school and family.


This year we are utilizing the same on-line scheduling system as the middle school and high school. The link below will take you to the schedule, there is no password needed.

Preschool Enrollment

Blackbird Elementary School is taking applications for tuition FREE Preschool for the 2016-2017 school year. Children of all abilities and families of all income levels are encouraged to apply. Please call Mrs. Wagner at 231.526.4600 for an appointment.

Knights Of Columbus Free Throw Championship

Event takes place February 6th, with registration starting at 2:00pm. This is a free competition for boys and girls ages 10-14. Please contact Matt Pater (231-330-3426) or RJ Ouellette (231) 838-3743 with any questions.

Wrestling




The Wrestling Club is open to all kids K-8th grade

We will be attending meets/tournaments starting the end of Feb. to end of March.

Tournaments are on Saturdays and the locations are all in N. Michigan


First practice: Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, 5:30 pm – 7:30pm

Location: Blackbird Gym

Cost: $50 – covers tournament fees and sweatshirt

The first two weeks of practice will be two days a week (mon/Tues). We will then practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday every week after that until the end of the season.

Registration for Harbor Springs 2016 Travel Soccer will be open from January 1st through January 31st. Travel soccer registration is open to boys and girls grades 3 through 8. Carmen from the Little Traverse Humane Society stopped by to thank Ms. Kowalski's class for their donation. Instead of exchanging gifts, they all brought in items for the shelter in the spirit of giving.
