Satire
Satire is the act of mocking someone or something you dislike within society to help prove a point or have someone learn a lesson. Usually, satire is humorous in nature to help get the satirists point across.
This picture uses incongruity and a play on the phrase "elephant in the room" to satirize how Republicans try to make laws restricting abortions, birth control, etc.
This picture is a parody on the famous last supper painting to satirize the obesity issue in America and the addiction to fast food, and how it ultimately can lead to death.
This picture uses irony to mock how congress has done little to prevent global warming or climate change, and probably won't until it's too late.
The Daily Show satirizes international news stories.
