Non-Credit Bearing Service Opportunities
ACQUIRE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE
By volunteering in one of the service programs, you can acquire some precious work experience and may also fulfill Nazareth's experiential learning requirement in our Uncommon Core.
Choose from the following programs, that range from one-time days of service to weekly immersive partnerships with community organizations:

Choose from the following programs, that range from one-time days of service to weekly immersive partnerships with community organizations:
- Short-Term Opportunities (days of service, fundraisers)
- Naz Service Immersion Trips (service trips during fall Reading weekend and spring break)
- Partners for Serving (serving with nine community organizations supporting issues around immigration and refugees, homelessness, youth development, etc.)
- Partners for Learning (tutoring in-school and after-school with youth in eight urban settings)
- LifePrep@Naz (supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in an on-campus fully integrated transitional program)
- Clinton Global Initiative University (national initiative providing social innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills and opportunities)
- Service Community in George Hall (exciting residential housing option for sophomores, juniors and seniors in which all residents serve with a variety of organizations)
- Saints Place (support area refugees through tutoring for literacy and language development)
- Service Ambassador Program (volunteer with Lollypop Farm, Make-A-Wish, Saint's Place Refugee Resettlement, and Yoga Empowerment)
- Nazareth College Connection and Night@Naz (academic and social support of Rochester city high school students on-campus)
