LINCOLN COUNTY CASA
November 2018
News - Summer in Full Swing
In April, Lincoln County CASA had the privilege of being nominated as one of three non-profit organizations to receive a donation from 100 Woman who care. Our fearless leader, Jodi Sonneman, provided a heartfelt presentation of what it means to be a child in the foster care system and how CASA makes a huge difference in a child's life when an advocate is appointed to represent their interests to the Court. The end result was we were chosen by the members of this organization to receive the winning donation of $10,000.00 We cannot say thank you enough to all those who voted to support Lincoln County CASA.
Lincoln County CASA also participated in "Giving Day" on May 2nd. We continue to be so thankful for those individuals in our community who choose to support our efforts through their generous financial support. A big Thank You to all those who donated.
We also continue to be so uplifted by the outstanding volunteers we have working within our organization. We receive regular feed back from those involved in the cases and the Courts as to the care and compassion that our volunteers exhibit. We thank you for all of your commitment and hard work.
We have a busy next couple of months as we try to stay cool in these dog days of summer. Please see details of our up and coming events below.
