Where has the year gone?

As we are preparing for the last week of school, I wanted to first, thank you for all your support this school year. It has been a year full of learning. I wanted to let you know what is in store for this week.

Students need to make sure they are bringing their book bags everyday this week. We will be sending home notebooks and things in our desk each day. It will come little by little because we are still using some notebooks, plus I don't want students to be overloaded with everything on one day. Everything will be sent home by Wednesday.

Summer Reading Book and Calendar

Your child was given the opportunity to pick out a book for their summer reading. Students have a purple letter that goes with their book, explaining the reading program over the summer. Also in the letter, it explained the summer journal project. You can find the summer calendar of activities on our school website. Students are encouraged to keep a journal of summer reading and activities and bring it to open house in August.

End of Year Celebration

Our 3rd grade end of year celebration will be on June 9th, beginning at 9:30. We will have different games/activities for the students to freely enjoy. After our games and activities, we will enjoy a picnic lunch outside. Parents are more than welcome to join us. Our celebration will wrap up at 11:20.
