The return of athletes...
Field Hockey
The Field Hockey Team opened up the 2020 season with 3 straight wins and are the #1 ranked team in the area. They defeated Penfield 5-0, Webster Schroeder 7-0 and Pittsford Mendon 3-0. Goalie Sydney Baylor has yet to allow a goal this year. Goal scores so far this year include Molly Fischer(6), Audrey Greib(3), Anna Parish (2),Kaitlyn Jordan(2),Helena Roa and Kenzie Brooks each have one. Next up for the Field Hockey team is a game vs, Fairport this tomorrow at 5pm.
Girls Soccer
The girls Soccer team traveled to Churchville Saturday and lost a tough game 2-0.
They took on Brighton Monday Night and after two overtimes they tied 0-0. Annika Monfort recorded the Shutout and had three big saves to preserve the tie.
Wednesday Night the girls traveled to Spencerport to take on the Rangers. They came away with a 0-1 loss to a tough Spencerport Team. Alyssa Ogi, Karly Tausch and Cathryn Rogers were the players of the match controlling the midfield for the Titans.
The boys cross country team opened the 2020 season with a convincing 17 to 45 win over Penfield on Saturday. Junior JJ Montemaro was the race winner, with teammates senior Austin Schoen and sophomore Connor Thomas close behind.
The girls' team lost a close battle with Penfield. Junior Carolyn Mack and senior Heather Ashton were second and third overall.

Girls Tennis
Girls tennis was busy this past weekend. They played Fairport and Athena Greece Saturday, Penfield, Pittsford Sutherland and Mercy to round out the week. The only win of the week was against Greece Athena. They won the match 6-1.
Winners included;
Cassie Spencer 1st singles, Maddie Kelly 2nd singles,Abby Rich 3rd singles. Partners Olivia Scott and Karlie DePaul 1st doubles, Maggie Ammon and Grace Cunningham 2nd doubles, and Maddy Wideman and Kilian Laird at 3rd doubles.
Girls Golf
The Monroe County Tournament of Champions took place this week. Girls Sectional Golf begins next week. Ava LaBelle qualified for the sectionals shooting a 39.
Boys Soccer
The boys hosted Churchville in their opening game of the season. They took the lead 3 times during the game on goals by Isaac Buckley, a PK by Wyatt Dutro and the game winner by Zack Wolfe. They won 3-2.
Monday they traveled to Brighton and unfortunately came away with a tough 1-0 loss.
Thursday night the boys played host to Spencerport Thursday night. They won the game 3-1. Goals were scored by Zack Wolfe, Mike McNally and Wyatt Dutro. Ryna Ledermann made some incredible saves. The only goal allowed was a penalty kick.
The boys travel to Gates Chili tomorrow for an early 9am game.
Girls Swim and Dive
The Girls took on Pittsford Thursday at the WAC. They ended up losing 113-73. Thomas’ Dana Witte took 1st in both the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:00.31 and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.64.
The girls next swim Tuesday 10/20 vs. Mercy.

Fall Fest 2020!!
While we are delaying our official Homecoming until the spring. However, we are still anxious to celebrate our Titan Spirit!! Join FallFest 2020!! Here are the details for the week of 10/26-10/30
AP Deadline Approaching...
Attention all students enrolled in AP courses. You only have 15 days left to register and pay for exams at the rate of $95 per exam. After that, the cost for each exam increases to $135. All payments and registrations are due on October 30th and must be done online! Don't delay! Register and pay today!
YEA Competition this weekend!
Najla Silmi is an 11th grader at Webster Thomas HS, her social movement is called Confiance. Targeted to girls and young women promoting healthy body imaging.
Confiance is a sole proprietorship that blogs about healthy body images and also gives fashion and style tips to encourage girls to be unique and embrace their individuality, and planning to sell shirts to raise awareness after the investor panel.

Dual Enrollment:
Dual credit courses are offered through Monroe Community College. Teachers have been discussing with students what it means to be a dual enrolled student and letters were sent home late this week. A copy of the letter is below. Here are some important notes:
The deadline for registration has been moved to October 9th. TODAY! This is a strict enrollment deadline. Students will not be able to enroll after this date for any reason.
