Bear Bulletin
Winter Break Edition
From the Principal
We wish each of our Ballentine families a wonderful, restful break full of family, friends, and special times together making memories. Of course, we'd love to see our Bears reading during break as well! It's a great way to relax and disconnect from hectic schedules and busy days. Have a wonderful holiday break and we'll see everyone next year!
Important Last Minute Need-to-Knows
- Wrapping paper orders: If you ordered wrapping paper, cookie dough, or other gift items through River City Wrapping, we are expecting delivery of these items by the end of the day on Thursday. In order to give us time to sort items and have them ready for pick up, please plan to come by the school office during one of the following times: Friday, December 17th, between 1:00 - 5:00 and Monday, December 20th, between 8:00 - 12:00. If the items are small enough, we will send them home with your child. All other items will need to be picked up in the front office on Friday between 1:00 - 5:00 or on Monday between 8:00 - 12:00.
- Our Lost & Found is getting quite full. Please stop by any day after school between 3:00 - 5:30 if your child is missing a jacket or coat. Use the entrance near the cafeteria where the afterschool Safari program is. Any items remaining after winter break will be donated to charity.
- Friday, Dec 17, is a half-day and elementary schools will dismiss at 10:40
***please note this is earlier than our usual early release day dismissal time***
