Holiday Recess – December 23 – January 7, 2018
To All SCHS Families
On behalf of the St. Clair High School Administration, Faculty, and Staff I wish you all
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our students have performed well thus far. Academic performance is solid and student behavior has been exceptional. I am proud of our students and the staff who works with them.
Looking toward 2018, please look for ways to support SCHS or one of its programs. It is no secret that the success we have experienced in the classroom, through fine arts, and in athletic competition is through the cooperative effort of students, staff, and community. I trust that relationship will continue to flourish.
In the meantime, during this holiday season, I hope you will enjoy time with family and friends.
My best to you and yours.

Winter Weather Reminders / School Closing Procedure
Michigan winters offer a variety conditions and challenges. I offer a few helpful reminders to students and families as we negotiate this winter season:
*Crazy as this sounds, wear shoes as opposed to sandals
*Dress in light layers – allows adjustment to varied temps and lessens bulk
*Wear hats, coats, & gloves in the event students need to be outside
for an extended period of time
In the event of school cancellations:
1. The ECSD will make a timely, automated phone call
2. Information is also available on the ECSD webpage
3. Call 810 676 1101 “Weather Advisory/School Closing Line”
for up to date transportation delays.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL INDIVIDUAL BUILDINGS REGARDING WEATHER RELATED CLOSINGS
