Weekly Bulletin
Week of August 19-23
A note from Kelly
Congratulations on completing your first week of school! I saw so many happy kiddos and happy parents. I also loved the way everyone decorated their classrooms. After visiting some other schools, I can honestly say how thankful I am to work with such a crafty and inspiring group.
We had our first semi-traumatizing/semi-successful kindergarten lunches. A huge thank you to Deborah for her help and support. Things definitely got better as the week went on. I am no longer considering retirement.
I keep asking about when the Blackboard communication will be completed and they cannot give me a date. As soon as it is ready, you will receive a notice.

Shout out!
This week's shout out goes to the third-grade teachers! They let us borrow 2-3 students to use to help with the kindergarten transitions. Thanks!!

Technology Tips
Your Macbook is capable of all kinds of shortcuts. My favorite is Command-F. If you press them both at the same time, you can find any word on a page. Click HERE for a list of keyboard shortcuts.
Mandated Reporter Training
Click HERE to read the letter from Ann Siri regarding mandated reporter training. This course is due no later than September 20th.

We have numerous BV students with Life-Threatening Allergies. Although we may not yet have received MD orders or medications for these students, we can be proactive in our prevention strategies. The following classrooms should be designated as "Nut Free".
