Dear Lovejoy New Hire,


Congratulations on your new position with Lovejoy ISD! We are so excited to have you join our team starting with the 2021-2022 school year. Each step is important and must be completed promptly in order to ensure you are able to start working on schedule. New Hire Checklist

Save the Date - New Hire Meet & Greet

Big picture
Lovejoy ISD will host a New Hire Meet & Greet near your start date. At this HR Orientation you will receive your badge with campus access, gain access to email and technology, complete any outstanding onboarding tasks, learn about payroll and benefits, and meet other new hires.


We typically schedule new employees for a Meet & Greet as early as possible to allow maximum flexibility in transition to your new campus/department. We will contact you individually with the date/time of your orientation. If you have a conflict please let us know, so we can add you to a later event.

When will I get my badge, keys, and access to technology?

All new hires will attend a 3 hour New Hire Meet & Greet before they begin working. At that Meet & Greet you will get your badge (with building access), email and technology access, as well as, information regarding payroll, benefits, and any outstanding personnel documentation (service records and transcripts).

Who do I forward my past service records and transcripts to at Lovejoy ISD?

Please forward all past service records and transcripts to your assigned Human Resources Generalist:

Do transcripts and service records have to come directly from the school?

Yes and No.


Electronic Transcripts must come directly from the school. Printed transcripts must be official copies in a sealed envelope.


Service Records do not have to come directly from the school; however, they must be original records not copies.
